Scholarships and Bursaries – Further Details
Kensington Wade offers a fixed number of scholarships to children entering Year 3 and Year 4 who can demonstrate exceptional ability at assessment in English and mathematics or music. The award of a scholarship entitles the pupil to a reduction in the annual school fees at the school’s discretion.

Admission. Children are able to join Kensington Wade at the start of the term in which they turn three.
Curriculum. We follow the British curriculum except in mathematics where we follow the Shanghai Approach (also called the Mastery Approach). The unique advantage at Kensington Wade is that we teach the curriculum in a fully immersive bilingual English-Chinese setting.
Extracurricular activities. We offer a wide range of curricular activities. Clubs offered include: African drumming, ballet, Bilingual Beats, board games, chamber choir, chess, Chinese art, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese dance, Chinese music, Chinese storytime, choral group, coding, cookery, drama, football, games, homework, Karate, multi-sports, musical ensemble, musical theatre, orchestra, passport, programmable robotics, Spanish, tennis and yoga.
