All our children leave at 11 and we have a well-established reputation for success in the Kent Test and other super-selective Grammar tests at 11+, and competitive entry to independent schools such as Sevenoaks, Caterham and King's Rochester. We have a consistently good record in gaining scholarships in academics, sport and music, which goes hand in hand with an ethos which encourages individuality, self-expression, curiosity to learn and the ability to challenge accepted wisdom.
The school is careful to cultivate a calm, happy atmosphere and there is also a strong emphasis on building skills for the future and developing a sensitive awareness of the world beyond the school.
