Our boys want to be part of everything. Whether it be sports teams, musical ensembles or our famous drama productions, pupils are enthusiastic because they know they are valued and have an important contribution to make.
We are proud of our outstanding academic record, preparing boys for a wide range of senior schools across the country, carefully chosen to suit their academic and extracurricular strengths. Half of the Year 8 cohort for the last two years have been awarded scholarships to their senior schools.
Small class sizes in each year lead to a unique, nurturing and incredibly friendly environment where no boy is left behind. Great emphasis is placed on the development of each boy's individual character and confidence from an early age – encouraging resilience, humility and kindness to others. This happens alongside a fun and forward-looking learning environment with highly skilled staff that inspire pupils to be intellectually curious and ambitious.
Our strong links with Old Vicarage School enable our boys to work and socialise with girls as they grow up, leading to a healthy understanding of how positive and happy relationships are formed.
We are delighted to welcome prospective parents to our termly Open Mornings, where they can meet staff, current parents and, most importantly, have a tour of our magical school with our pupils. Alternatively, we are very happy to arrange personal tours of the school with our Headmaster, if this is more convenient.
