Our innovative teaching and fresh approach to learning inspire young minds, broaden horizons and create opportunities to develop new skills and grow in confidence. With exceptional facilities and a curriculum designed to engage and stretch every child, we provide the perfect environment for pupils to explore, question and thrive.
Developing the whole child is our priority as we prepare each one to move on to their carefully chosen senior school with the energy, enthusiasm, and resilience to flourish.
Our exceptional sports facilities include rugby, football, and cricket pitches, two Astroturf pitches, a golf course, an indoor sports hall, dance and gymnastics studio and a 20-metre indoor pool. Pupils enjoy a wide range of sports, including rugby, hockey, netball, football, lacrosse, cricket, athletics, swimming and tennis. The Performing Arts are woven into everyday life at Swanbourne House, with music and drama playing a central role for every child. Our rich curriculum explores music across genres, from Bach to Bernstein and Chopin to Coldplay, encouraging pupils to feel, reflect and express themselves. Our school productions are showstoppers, with professional set design, lighting and sound, offering a chance for pupils to experience the excitement of large-scale performances.
Year 8 pupils have been awarded a range of scholarships in Academics, Art, Drama, Design & Technology, Music and Sport. Recent leavers have gone on to top senior schools, including Stowe, Eton, Harrow and Cheltenham Ladies’ College.
