Norfolk House School is an Independent, co-educational school, situated in the pleasant suburb of Edgbaston. It is ideally located for pupils and parents all over Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
The school aims to provide individual attention to each pupil, thus enabling each child to fulfil his or her potential. Small class sizes and favourable pupil to teacher ratios culminate in the best possible academic results. Many pupils move on to the various King Edward Schools, or to other grammar schools or senior independent schools as the direct result of the high standards achieved at Norfolk House.
The curriculum is designed to give each child a thorough academic education over a wide range of subjects, taking fully into account the requirements of the Eleven Plus and the various entrance examinations to senior independent schools.
A wide range of extracurricular activities and enrichment sessions ensure that all children receive a rounded education. They are encouraged to pursue their interests, whether sporting, musical or artistic, alongside the rigorous academic work they encounter. The School has access to first-class sports pitches and other facilities nearby.
In addition, the School aims to instil in each child good manners, consideration and respect for others, and recognition of personal responsibility. Norfolk House is a small school with an emphasis on caring and traditional values, yet forward-thinking in outlook. It is a happy school with high attainment, competitive fees and a family atmosphere.
