Tailored, not uniform. Founded in 1973, MPW London is one of the UK’s leading Sixth Form colleges. Situated in the heart of one of the capital’s most exclusive and vibrant locations, the college offers small classes in a socially relaxed yet highly academically disciplined environment.
A unique teaching method. We have a distinct approach to education with small classes of no more than nine students and a strong emphasis on exam techniques which have been proven over decades. Our Director of Studies system offers a high level of personal care, supporting welfare and academic progress.
Unrivalled range of courses. We offer a highly flexible curriculum of unrivalled depth and breadth, comprising A level, GCSE, retakes and university foundation programmes. We also run an acclaimed programme of Easter Revision courses each year.
Strong results and progression. Despite having a non-selective admissions policy and a wide variety of courses targeted at students of different academic abilities, our students achieve outstanding overall results year after year. In 2024, A*/A was the commonest grade at A level. These results unlock the doors to some of the UK’s best universities – each year, approximately two-thirds of our students progress to top tier universities (Russell Group, University of London and specialist institutions).
Stunning location. MPW London is located in South Kensington (Zone 1), one of the most exclusive and affluent parts of the capital. MPW London is just a few minutes’ walk from Hyde Park, Imperial College and many world-famous museums, including the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Rating ‘Excellent’ by ISI. In our latest Independent School Inspectorate (ISI) report published in February 2022, we received the highest rating of ‘Excellent’, prompting the inspectors to report: 'Students make rapid progress from their various starting points, in small-sized classes, due to highly effective specialist teaching and closely focused pastoral support.'
