Making their way through games and the arts. Our sports provision is a standout feature of the school. With dedicated facilities and daily lessons, every girl has the chance to enjoy an active lifestyle and take part in friendly tournaments within the school community. Those with the passion and talent can progress to squad level and compete locally, regionally or nationally, often with exceptional results.
Music is woven into everyday life at Maltman’s. Specialist teaching, excellent facilities and a wealth of choice allow girls to explore and showcase their musical interests. Many join our choirs or take up individual instrumental lessons, with ensemble groups offering further opportunities to perform. Drama too plays a vibrant role in school life, with regular workshops and productions helping girls build confidence and creative expression. Performances take place in our dedicated theatre space, complete with professional staging, lighting, costumes and props.

Making our way forward. Since opening our doors in 1918, we have continually refined our learning environment to offer the very best for our girls. Our campus now includes dedicated subject classrooms, a 6-lane, 25-metre swimming pool, a Science Lab, STEAM lab, IT hub, Art hub, Music hub, a multi-use gymnasium, a state-of-the-art theatre and a dedicated day-care centre for 2–3 year olds. We place great importance on outdoor learning, with an extensive Woodland School, a Wellbeing garden and landscaped grounds that create a peaceful and nurturing setting.
