Lime House School is a fully independent co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 7 to 18. Our aim is to ensure that each pupil achieves his or her potential both academically and socially, with each child treated individually. Our pupils are cared for in a safe rural environment and we work hard to ensure that they develop confidence and self-esteem. Boarding is available to all pupils, with the majority being full boarders.
Foreign students whose first language is not English add to the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the school. They are prepared for Cambridge English examinations (iGCSE & IELTS) and follow the same curriculum as all other students.
Games and sport form an important part of school life. All students participate and a wide range of team and individual sports is offered. Academically, Lime House offers a wide range of subjects at both GCSE and A Level. In 2024, the GCSE pass rate was 88% and at A Level 47% of grades were A* to B. and 62% A* to C.
We would welcome a visit to our school to see it in action. Simply contact the school and we will arrange a time convenient for you.
