Heathfield Knoll School is a mixed-ability independent day school that believes pupils learn, play and interact when their happiness is placed at the forefront of all we do. Fostering happiness involves embracing all aspects of a child’s development, listening to their concerns and responding to needs as appropriate.
Nestled within the Wolverley countryside just outside Kidderminster, Heathfield Knoll School encompasses a large section of school life onto one site (from 3 months to 19 years). Heathfield Knoll has an enviable reputation as the leading school in the Wyre Forest District and Worcestershire, as well as the wider region.
Heathfield Knoll Nursery accepts children as early as 3 months old until 3 years when they continue their journey to Junior School (Preschool to Year 6). As pupils grow, they move on to Senior School (Years 7 to 11) and their GCSE years. Once pupils reach their post-16 choices they can attend Heathfield Knoll Sixth Form (Years 12 to 14) where they benefit from a flexible and tailored curriculum.
The school is centred around a large country house in beautiful surroundings, which includes extensive playing fields, woodland and grassland. Heathfield Knoll’s generous grounds are frequently used to support a creative curriculum, including Outdoor Learning. Heathfield Knoll aims to provide a traditional, well-structured education in small, nurturing teaching groups. This means that children’s needs are catered for and they thrive in a well-ordered atmosphere of mutual respect. Heathfield Knoll is concerned with more than just academic achievements; we encourage children to approach adulthood as confident, articulate and courteous individuals.
Heathfield Knoll School’s mission is to:
Enrich our pupils through a broad and inclusive education, in a nurturing and supportive environment where wellbeing is paramount.
Challenge our pupils to find their own pathway by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and inquisitive minds.
Prepare pupils for their future by encouraging resilient learners, leaders and compassionate global citizens.
