Edge Grove is a vibrant and successful independent school for boys and girls aged 3–13 years. It is set in 48 acres of parkland, only 15 miles from central London and conveniently located close to the M1 and M25 motorways. Our wonderful setting and facilities ensure our children enjoy a wide range of experiences and develop confidence in a challenging, fun and inspirational environment.
The School was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in February 2023, and was rated as ‘Excellent’ in ALL areas. The ISI stated that at all stages of the school ‘the quality of pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent’. The report noted that, ‘Pupils enjoy excellent levels of achievement, particularly in entrance examinations and scholarships to selective senior schools.’ They also observed that, ‘Pupils show excellent levels of initiative and independence as well as a self-evident willingness to work collaboratively.’ Pupils' personal development was also commented on, with inspectors praising how ‘Pupils show a very high level of self-understanding. They gain high levels of self-confidence and self-esteem through the support and nurturing of staff who know them well.’ The importance the School places on belonging and inclusivity was also commented upon: ‘The school successfully fulfils its aim of providing a warm, welcoming educational community in which pupils with a broad diversity of backgrounds develop a genuine sense of belonging and pride.’
