Academic life. Eaton Square is renowned for its stimulating, rigorous and tailored academic programme, enabling pupils to fulfil their potential in all areas of the curriculum. Based on the National Curriculum, consistently exceptional 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance results are achieved.
A wide range of subjects are encompassed in the curriculum, including Latin, French and Spanish. Digital skills are an integral part of the syllabus: the School has a device-per-child programme and interactive whiteboards.
Pupils are prepared for entry into both selective London Day schools and leading Boarding schools through London Day School examinations and Common Entrance examinations at 11+.
Sport & the Arts. Sport and Physical Education include Swimming, Rugby, Cricket, Hockey, Fencing, Gymnastics, Football, Sailing, Skiing, Karate, Ballet and Tennis. National success is a routine part of school life: recent accolades included IAPS Football winners, ISA Nationals Swim champions and RYA Sailing Gold Medallist.
Creative self-expression is a valued, integral part of the curriculum, be it through Art, Music, Drama, Debating or Public Speaking. Appreciation of music, singing, composition and theory are taught by specialists at all ages. There are active School Choirs, an orchestra and a variety of ensembles that rehearse throughout the week. The Debating team is renowned; the School is even an accredited Tedx Talks centre. Drama is integrated within the curriculum and each child takes part in at least two performances every year.
