The Nursery can be found in the Manor House, within the grounds of the Prep School. Its safe and nurturing environment, for children from 2 months to 2 years, provides a rounded learning environment for children to grow and thrive.
The Early Years professionally led staff team consists of qualified and experienced practitioners.
The Nursery is surrounded by beautiful outdoor spaces where the children have access to a large lawned area, sandpits, astro and the Spinney.
The Pre-Prep and Prep Departments are housed in a modern, purpose-built building. The school offers the absolute best in teaching and learning at every age. The academic core is intertwined with a wide raft of subjects and opportunities.
Academic standards are excellent, with pupils being prepared for entry to senior independent schools, both locally and nationally, and to grammar schools. Teaching is structured to take into account the requirements of the National Curriculum, with constant evaluation and assessment for pupils.
With an average class size of 14, every child receives individual, tailored learning.
All departments have access to outdoor learning and extensive playground areas; there is a multipurpose Sports Hall, a separate Assembly Hall and Astroturf court.

Music, Drama and Sport play an important part in the life of the school. Concerts are held, and a wide variety of sport is played, with teams competing regularly against other schools, and additional clubs are held for those wanting to learn specialist activities such as karate, yoga, tennis and ballet.
The school aims to incorporate the best of modern teaching methods and traditional values in a friendly, caring and busy environment, where good work habits and a concern for the needs of others are paramount.
