At UCS Pre-Prep, we firmly believe that happiness and self-esteem are the keys to success in every pupil’s learning journey. The well-qualified and highly supportive staff accompany each child on a voyage of educational and social discovery during the first years of school life.
The Pre-Prep fully supports the aims and ethos of UCS: intellectual curiosity and independence of mind are developed, self-discovery and self-expression are fostered and a cooperative and collaborative approach to learning is of great importance.
For every child in our care, we provide a continuously positive and creative learning environment that allows the individual the opportunity to develop personal qualities and talents. Children enjoy specialist teaching in music, art and Physical Education and the full primary curriculum in well-resourced classrooms. All pupils enjoy the use of the swimming pool and experience a wide range of different sports. The outdoor learning programme takes advantage of the school’s allotment and extensive space at the fields. At the end of Year 2, the boys transfer to the Junior Branch of UCS.
